Whitesmoke
There's one thing that I always make sure to include in the CSS files of all of my projects. Whitesmoke.
Whitesmoke is a mixture of both worlds. It has the plainness of an off white, but the sophistication of a light grey. I mostly throw it in with a border-bottom, or border-top if I'm feeling fancy.
I found out about color name values when inspecting color in developer tools. I proceeded to press the up & down arrows (highly recommended) many times taking mental notes of my favorites. I use them all the time.
I don't see a lot of color name values when perusing through others' CSS files. I see color variables in the .scss files. Lots of HEX values. A decent amount of rgba(). But where's the love for color names? I think I get it though. Some of the ones that come off the top of the head are a little plain. But some of the more obscure, hard to remember ones are quite nice.

I get most people want total customization of their colors. But color name values offer tremendous value(s). See the rest of the color name values: Mozilla
